Helllooooooooo Peopleeeeeeee I am Tandava and its day 3 of the 90 day writing challenge; i hope some of you took time and started something that makes you uncomfortable and scares the shit out of you? if yes do share with me. Okayy so back to the topic in the last few weeks, I’ve done few things that would have been very hard for Harsh from few months back to replicate/do; cause I started to abuse this advice “ask as many questions as possible”. You might be wondering asking question is good na? most people are very afraid to even ask question, so how is that bad?
See there’s nothing wrong in asking questions, infact that is one of the best things you can do to yourself ( trust me ); but not putting in any work and just asking questions is not a good strategy
I’ll explain why, when you are just running for advices only; you ask kinda generic questions, fail to understand the topic/concept on a deeper level (as you haven't worked on it) and most importantly you’re not fully utilizing the opportunity to ask questions.
That’s precisely what I was doing asking people for strategies, resources, frameworks and not taking any action. This has been one of the key reasons I didn’t start this challenge early, i was asking rules, formats and what not to everyone around me. Not realising the fact the i dont have to do this challenge like Lakshay did, but the way i wanna do it. You see Nimichan, Chelsi, Vikra, Anshu each one of us are doing the same challenge right? Yet we are doing it so differently!
That’s exactly why I was stuck, mistaking that there's a perfect way of doing things, completely ignoring the fact that perfect is something we achieve by putting in the reps, and it's unique to us.
So if you are too stuck with the same thought? Don’t think much take that leap and just get started and your future self will thank you for this courageous act!
One more thing, Most of the time you don’t need advice; you just need some action!
Cheers 🥂
Greatness is coming ⚡
