Helllo Peoplee I am Tandava and its day 5 of the 90 day writing challenge; and i’m not very proud to report that i didnt write yesterday. I feel there are two options when we fail at something:
I’ve been done beating myself up for this, and I can confirm it doesn’t do any good to you. Hence I choose the Second option. We all make mistakes, big or small, and it's natural to feel disappointed and frustrated with ourselves when we do. We beat ourselves up, replay the situation over and over in our minds, and dwell on our failures. But the truth is, this negative self-talk doesn't do us any good. In fact, it can lead to a downward spiral of negativity and self-doubt.
So, what should you do instead? The first step is to sit down and accept that you messed up. Acknowledge your mistake and take responsibility for it. This is difficult, but necessary.
Next, take some time to reflect on what led to this mistake. Was it a lack of preparation? Did you take on too much at once? Were you feeling overwhelmed or stressed? Try identifying the root cause of the problem can help you avoid making the same mistake again in the future.
Finally, move ahead regardless of you failing once, twice or x number of times. Accept that you failed once, twice, or even multiple times, but don't let that define you. Use your mistake as a learning opportunity and focus on what you can do differently next time. Don't let fear of failure hold you back from trying again.
Everyone makes mistakes, and it's okay to fail. You failures dont define you, but your response to failure does. So, the next time you find yourself beating yourself up over a mistake, take a step back, reflect, and move forward with a positive attitude.
Remember; You only fail, when you refuse to get back up again. Greatness is Coming ⚡ Tandavaa
